Outreach Mission

REACH creates useful and progressive learning advantages for rehabilitation and disability communities. Our world changes rapidly; it is critical to not only learn about these changes, but to learn how to confidently and effectively use these changes to offer exemplary rehabilitation service. REACH is within the Office of Rehabilitation and Disability Studies, Michigan State University.

Members of today's rehabilitation and disability community must be learning all of the time. In our online environments, you can advance your learning with the convenience of learning when you want from the familiarity of your home or office computer. REACH is moving continuing education into a future which better serves your needs and leads to more effective disability outcomes.

Service providers in a knowledge economy must incorporate solid knowledge and informed practices into all they do. Our knowledge management sites will provide user friendly environments for effective practice, At this time we offer a knowledge management site for the Michigan Department of Career Services-Rehabilitation Services and we are pleased to announce the new public site... the E-LearnAbility Community.
